The Lion’s Roar?

I hope this blog doesn’t turn out to be something like him….

Well hopefully this won’t turn out to be something as formal as the praise “Lion’s Roar”.  By the way that’s the praise to the Buddha for when he gives teachings it’s as powerful as the roar of a lion, not by volume level but by how the teachings ring into ourselves.

During my time rolling around the San Gabriel Valley I’ve been keeping myself involved in the Buddhist community keeping myself informed of what’s going on.  I’m not a very good writer nor do I have the luxuries to hire a scribe to put everything I say into text.

My main purpose for this blog is quite simple.  Not just for putting up my own personal Buddhist footprints (my other personal footprints are somewhere else), but to share news about Buddhism’s happenings in the San Gabriel Valley since this is where I’m mainly stationed around.  If you’re reading this blog do be prepared to become bi-lingual!  I do have a lot of good material in Chinese that I might post here but I might not necessarily  have the time to translate them back into English or visa-versa.  Who knows, I might even bring in a friend or two to share some of their goodies as well.

I’m also a Buddhist minister so there will be different ceremonies and things that will probably need my attending to and hopefully I can share a pic or two as well.  To benefit all beings takes different skillful means!

I will be honest, I won’t be able to update everyday, but if I’m not too busy in the office where I work at, then I would probably slap something on here.

Enjoy the rest of the day!
